Today I learned that ASNMSU will not sponsor Enviro-fest nor will they allow me to fund it through PIRG with the Community Service funds that NM Students PIRG earned throught the volunteering of its members at the Van’s Warped tour Concert on July 1st. They have killed the event.

Upcoming events at NMSU hosted by PIRG
I am currently planning a big event to commemorate the 2009 Year of Sustainability at NMSU. I have begun to speak to key people and reaching out getting feelers as to what various departments are tinking about in regards to this event.
The core of the event is to have a Make up Earth Hour since the original one took place on March 28th when the school was on spring break.

I just read a little about how to customize and I believe this will be easier to use HTML on than My Space was. I believe I’ll have more flexibility here and locating which object the code pertains to wont be as tedious as it was on My Space. I know what I want to do here.
